The Collection tab consists of the various items that relate to your learning and skill development journey in Degreed. The following are available on the Collection tab of your Profile:
- Learning content
- Experiences
- Achievements
- Pathways
- Plans
- Academies (if enabled for your organization)
You can use the above categories and relevant filters to refine your Collection tab to display and share specific aspects of your learning transcript. You can also manage these items by adding or removing them from directly from the Collection tab.
Filter the Collection Tab
Focus filters are available to refine the content available in your Collection tab based on the selected category. The selected focus filter also controls what additional filters are available to further refine the Collection tab.
You can share the filtered view of the Collection tab by copying the current URL from your browser and sending it to another member with Degreed access.
See the available filters for each focus category below:
Learning
The Collection tab defaults to the Learning focus filter. This focus filter displays all learning items in your collection, including videos, articles, podcasts, courses, books, events, assessments, tasks, and posts.
Type: Filter the Learning content by its type. A list of content types (such as Article, Book, Course etc.) displays for selection.
Skill: Filter the Learning content by associated skills. A list of corresponding skills displays for selection. You can also use a search bar to enter a skill name.
Provider: Filter the Learning content by its Provider. A list of corresponding Providers displays for selection. You can also use a search bar to enter a Provider name.
Only the 10 most common providers available in your collection are displayed in this list for selection. Use the search function to access all other Provider options.
Date: Enter a date range to filter the Learning content by the date the item was added to your profile. The Collection tab is filtered to items completed within the date range you specified.
Experiences
Select the Experiences focus category to filter the Collection tab to Experiences only.
Type: Filter the available Experiences by its type. A list of experience types (such as Job Role, Project, or Stretch Assignment) displays for selection.
Skill: Filter the available Experiences by associated skills. A list of corresponding skills displays for selection. You can also use a search bar to enter a skill name.
Date: Enter a date range to filter the Experiences by. The Collection tab is filtered by the date the Experience was added to your profile.
Achievements
Select the Achievements focus category to filter the Collection tab to Achievements only, including accomplishments, degrees, certificates, badges, and awards.
Type: Filter the Achievements by type. A list of Achievement types (such as Accomplishments, Awards, Badges, etc.) displays for selection.
Skill: Filter the Achievements by associated skills. A list of corresponding skills displays for selection. You can also use a search bar to enter a skill name.
Date: Enter a date range to filter the Achievements by. The Collection tab is filtered by the date the Achievement was added to your profile..
Pathways
Select the Pathways focus category to filter the Collection tab to Pathways only.
Status: Filter the Pathways by its status: Following, Authoring, and Completed.
Sort by: Sort the Pathways displayed by Newest, Oldest, A to Z, or Z to A.
Plans
Select the Plans focus category to filter the Collection tab to Plans only.
Status: Filter the Plans by their status. A list of status types displays for selection: Following, Authoring, and Completed.
Sort by: Sort the Pathways displayed by Newest, Oldest, A to Z, or Z to A.
Academies (if enabled)
Select the Academies focus category to filter the Collection tab to Academies only.
Status: Filter the Academies by their status. A list of status types displays for selection: In Progress and Completed.
Academy Contributor: Filter the list of Academies to only those you are a contributor on. For more information, see Academy Contributors.
Sort by: Sort the Academies displayed by Newest, Oldest, A to Z, or Z to A.
To Add a Learning Item to your Collection
You can now add Learning content, Experiences, and Achievements to your Profile from the Collection tab. Learning content added here is only available in your Profile, but can be viewed and completed by anyone visiting your Profile page (based on your Profile Visibility settings).

Click Profile from the Degreed header.

Click the Collection tab.

Select the focus category that corresponds to what you want to add into your Collection: Learning, Experiences, or Achievements.

Select the Add button.
If this is a Learning or Achievement item, select the type before continuing. -
Complete the necessary fields to add the item.

Select the Save button.
The item is now added to your Collection. If you added an Experience or Achievement, this is also displayed on the Overview tab of your profile.
To Remove Multiple Items from your Collection
Follow the below steps to delete multiple items at once:

Click Profile from the Degreed header.

Click the Collection tab.

Filter the view using the appropriate filters.

Click the Select button.
Checkboxes appear on the content cards. -
Click the checkboxes that correspond with the items you want to remove.

Click the Delete button.

Click the Yes, I'm Sure button to confirm you want these items and their corresponding points removed from your profile.
To Add Skills to Items from your Collection
You can edit the skills that are associated with content items within your Profile. These edits only impact content items in your Profile Collection. Other members in Degreed will not see the skills you added to a content item.

Click Profile from the Degreed header.

Click the Collection tab.

Filter the view using the appropriate filters.
- Click the Select button.
Checkboxes appear on the content cards. -
Click the checkboxes that correspond with the items you want to edit.

Click the Edit Skills button.
A modal appears -
In the Related Skills field, enter the skills you want associated with the selected content.

Click Save.
The content is updated with the selected skills.
