Your Profile Overview provides you and visitors to your Profile a summary of your skills, experience, achievements, and learning. It provides an overview of all the learning and data you’ve added to your Profile.
Use the Overview to build a more robust Profile, engage with skills and Skill Ratings, complete content across Degreed, and see a more meaningful representations of all your learning activity.
Access your Profile Overview from the Profile > Overview menu in the left side navigation.

The Skills chart: An interactive, visual representation of your Skill Signals over time. By default, the number of Skill Signals for your top six skills (ordered from the highest Skill Ratings to the lowest Skill Ratings) display, with those skills listed in the Skills table. In the Skills Chart you can:
- Hover over the circle graph to quickly see the number of Skill Signals for a specific skill.
- Hover over the line graphs to see the number of Skill Signals by month, to better track your progress.
- Click Focus to view the number of Skill Signals specific to your selected Focus Skills (up to four).

Skills table: The list of skills represented in the chart. These skills update when you toggle from Top skills to Focus Skills. Each skill in the table includes:
- Skill name: Click to open the Skill Signals page to view your skill-related activities for the specific skill.

Skill Ratings: Each Skill Rating counts as one Skill Signal. You can add or edit a Self Rating, request or view a Manager Rating, and start, continue, or complete a Skill Review. To view the rating type, hover over it.

Signals pill: Click the Signals pill to open the Skill Signals page, or hover over it for a high-level view of the associated Skill Signals:

Actions menu (): Access additional options such as:
- View Skill Signals: Opens the Skill Signals page with details about skill-related activities for the specific skill such as signals, ratings, experiences, and achievements.
- Find content: Opens a search results page with content items that are associated to the skill.
- Recommend this Skill: Opens the Recommend a Skill Rating dialog where you can suggest another user complete a Self Rating or Skill Review for the skill.
- Edit rating: Opens the Rating dialog, where you can start a new Skill Review, request a Manager or Peer Rating, or update your Self Rating.
- Remove skill: Removes the skill from your Profile.
- Add/Remove Focus Skill: Sets or removes the skill from your Focus Skills list. Removing a skill as a Focus Skill does not remove the skill from your Profile.
- Skill Suggestions: A list of suggested skills to add to your Profile based on your learning activity, your organizations suggested skills, or your role. Click a skill to add it to your profile.
- Build your Profile: A visual snapshot of where you are in completing your Profile. As you complete your profile, you are offered a more personalized experience. For organizations who enabled Profile Parsing, you can upload and Parse Your LinkedIn Profile to automatically add skills, achievements, and experiences to your Profile.
- Experiences: Your experiences can include anything that demonstrates proficiency with a skill, including your current and former job positions, mentorships, volunteering, and more. You can associate each experience you add with skills, and those skill associations become Skill Signals.
- Achievements: Demonstrate your skill proficiency by adding your achievements such as accomplishments, awards, certificates, badges, and degrees. You can associate each achievement to skills and provide a more holistic overview of your entire lifetime of learning.
- Learning: View your most recently-completed content items.
