Remove a Skill from your Profile

If you no longer want to develop a skill, or if you want to remove content recommendations based on a specific skill from your Home page, you can remove the skill from your profile.

If you accidentally remove a skill from your profile, you can add it back. All ratings and manager comments are retained, and display again in your profile.

To Remove a Skill from your Profile

1. Open the Skills page on your profile page:
   From the top of any page in Degreed, click Profile > Skills.
   - or -
   On the Home page, from the navigation panel, click Manage Skills.
   The Skills page in your profile displays.
2. Locate the skill you want to remove from your profile.
3. Click .
   The skill is immediately removed from your profile, and content recommendations for that skill no longer display in your Home feed. Skill ratings are not removed when you remove a skill from your profile.
