If you want another learner in Degreed to complete a Skill Rating, you can recommend that they rate a skill. Optionally, you can also assign a Skill Rating for completion.
- To recommend a Skill Rating to someone, you must have the Share Skill Ratings permission.
- To view a Skill Rating you shared to someone, you must have the View Shared Skill Ratings permission.
- To assign a Skill Rating for completion, you must have the Assign Skill Ratings permission.
To Recommend a Skill Rating
- From the side navigation menu, select Profile > Skills.
Your Profile page displays. - Click the Skills tab.
Your Focus Skills and Additional Skills display in Grid View by default. - Locate the skill you want to recommend to another learner for a Skill Rating.

The Recommend a Skill Rating dialog box opens. - Enter one or more names of people whom you want to rate the skill.
- Enter a personalized message.
- Select a Rating Type that you want the person or people to complete.
For more information, see Skill Rating Types. - Optionally, if you have the Assign a Skill Rating permission in Degreed, toggle the Assign switch to
to assign the Skill Rating for completion.
- Click Share with # People.
The selected people receive a notification to complete a Skill Rating for the specified skill.
