You can cancel an in-progress Manager Rating request from the skill ratings modal on your profile's Skills tab. You can complete this cancelation in Grid View or List View.
Cancel a Manager Rating Request in Grid View
- From the side navigation menu, select Profile > Skills.
The Skills page opens, and the Grid View displays by default. - Locate the skill that has the Manager Rating request you want to cancel.
- Click anywhere on the Skill card.
The Skill Rating window opens. - In the Skill Rating window, click Cancel Request in the Manager Rating tile. Or, click
> Cancel Manager Rating Request.
The confirmation modal displays. - Click Cancel request to confirm the cancellation or click Keep request to abort the cancellation process.
This cancellation is permanent and cannot be undone.
Cancel a Manager Rating Request in List View
- From the side navigation menu, select Profile > Skills.
The Skills page opens, and the Grid View displays by default. - Click
> List.
Your skills display in a list. - Locate the skill that has the Manager Rating request you want to cancel.
- In the Skill Rating window, click Cancel Request in the Manager Rating tile. Or, click
> Cancel Manager Rating Request.
The confirmation modal displays. - Click Cancel request to confirm the cancellation or click Keep request to abort the cancellation process.
This cancellation is permanent and cannot be undone.
Manager Notification for a Cancelled Manager Rating Request
After you cancel a Manager Rating request, the following message displays when the manager clicks the email link or in-app notification for the canceled request:
This request is no longer valid.
