Notification emails are sent to users to remind them about upcoming events, incomplete steps, due dates, and important updates within the academy or custom programs they are enrolled in. Additionally, Admins receive emails for project submissions and approval requests.
Academy Emails
Event Reminders
When a user is enrolled in a published academy, and they have enabled the Allow Email and Event Reminders settings in their profile, they will receive reminder emails for:
- Active academy events occurring within the next 24 hours. Every hour, an automated task executes to send event reminders to users who haven't received one yet. For example, if a user joins an academy 10 hours before an event starts, they will receive an email reminder within an hour after joining the academy.
- Incomplete steps in the academy. If a step is not marked as complete or the user has not indicated that they will attend an event, they will receive a reminder email.
Due Date Reminders
When a user is enrolled in a published academy, and they have enabled the Allow Email and Due Date Reminders settings in their profile, they will receive reminder emails for:
- Content, projects, or discussions that are due within the next 24 hours. Every hour, an automated task executes to send due date reminders to users who haven't received one yet.
- Incomplete steps in the academy. If a step is not marked as complete, they will receive a reminder email.
Custom Program Emails
Reminders
When a user is enrolled in a published program, and they have enabled the Allow Email and Event Reminders settings in their profile, they will receive reminder emails for:
- Active custom program events occurring within the next 24 hours. Every hour, an automated task executes to send event reminders to users who haven't received one yet. For example, if a user joins a program 10 hours before an event starts, they will receive an email reminder within an hour after joining the program.
- Incomplete steps in the program. If a step is not marked as complete or the user has not indicated that they will attend an event, they will receive a reminder email.
Nudge Emails
When a user enables the Nudge Reminders setting in their profile, users receive nudge emails to remind them to log into the application or complete a step in an academy or custom program. For more information, see Sending Nudge Emails.
Manager and Admin Emails
- Manager Approval Request Emails: These are sent to a manager when you submit a program or resource request for approval.
- Admin Approval Request Emails: These are sent to an Admin when you submit a program or resource request for approval.
- Project Submissions: These are sent to Admins when a user submits a project in an Academy or Custom Program.
Other Emails
- New Incentives Available: These are sent to users when an Admin adds a new Incentive to the company's environment.
- Program Access Emails: These are sent to users when an Admin adds a program to their plan.
- Application Notification Emails: These are sent to users when they are approved or not approved for a program or resource.
- Permission Updates: These are sent to users when they have been given increased access to the platform.
