This article applies to clients with an Academies and Content Marketplace (ACM) license prior to the October 2024 Major Product Release. If you are unsure if this applies to your organization, please contact your CX Representative.
You can assign an approver for an academy so that any program requests made in that academy are directed to the approver. Only one contributor can be assigned as an approver for an academy. Program requests follow the normal approval request process if you do not assign an approver.
To Assign an Approver
- From the Admin View, select Academies from the left navigation menu.
- Locate the academy you want to assign an approver to.
- Click the Actions menu () next to the Academy.
- Click Edit Academy.
The Setup page displays. - Click Permissions on the left navigation menu of the Academy setup page.
- Select the Approve Programs option next to the contributor you want to assign as an approver.
The approver receives requests from users on the Approvals page. For more information, see the approval process for Admins and Managers.
Requests are only sent to the academy approver when a user submits a request through the academy. If a user requests a program from the marketplace, the request follows the standard approval process, whether or not it exists in an academy with a designated approver.
