Description:
I am trying to access some content that is hosted or presented by external learning providers, such as LinkedIn Learning, PluralSight, Ted@Work, and others. How do I know if I have a license to access such content providers?
Answer:
The User Interface in Degreed does not provide a list of your provider's licenses.
You should contact your internal Learning Team/Help Desk, who will be able to better assist you with this question as provider licenses are managed exclusively by your organization. Inform the content provider's name and any content examples (such as links) that you wish to access.
Some organizations have configured provider's licenses to be granted automatically via SSO authentication, something that allows the provider to identify you and your organization and log you in with your corporate information automatically. You can try performing such an authentication to see if a license is already granted to you. To do so:
- First, log in Degreed via SSO:
- Log out of Degreed
- Open Degreed's login page: https://degreed.com/account/login
- Enter your corporate email and then click on the Continue via SSO option
- You should be logged in to Degreed automatically
- Then, search and open a provider's content in Degreed. Click to Visit the item. This should redirect you to the provider's website and automatically sign you in with your corporate information (meaning you have a license), should this have been configured by your company
