Skill Coach Overview for Learners

What is Skill Coach?

Skill Coach is a management tool that helps your manager analyze your skills in Degreed, to help you develop new and existing skills for your professional and personal growth. 

If your organization enabled Skill Coach, your skills and ratings are visible to your manager.

To Opt Out of Skill Coach

You can opt out of Skill Coach in your Profile Settings. Opting out of Skill Coach hides your skill data from your manager's Skill Coach pages. 

1. From any page in Degreed, click Profile on the Degreed header.
   Your profile displays with the Overview tab open by default.
2. Click Settings. 
   Your Profile Settings page displays with the Profile tab open by default.
3. In the Opt-In section, disable the Skill Coach toggle ().
4. Click Save Changes.
   Your changes are available immediately.

If this option is not available in your Profile Settings, your organization did not enable the setting to opt-out of Skill Coach and your skill data will be visible on your manager's Skill Coach pages.
