Plan Visibility Settings
A Plan's visibility setting determines who can view the Plan in Degreed. You can set the visibility setting for your Plan from the Plans tab on your profile in Degreed.
Visibility Settings
To access a Plan's visibility settings, you must be an author or collaborator for the Plan.
When you create a new Plan or edit an existing Plan's Settings, you can select one of the following options:
- Private to collaborators: Only those people listed as collaborators can view and access the Plan.
- Visible on collaborator's profiles: The Plan is visible in the collaborators' profiles from the Collection tab. People in your organization who can see the collaborators' Profiles pages can see the Plan from there.
- Visible to groups: Only learners in specific groups can view the Plan.
- Visible to the entire organization: Everyone in your organization can view the Plan. If you choose to target specific groups, the Plan displays more prominently to them on the Home page, in Search results, and when browsing. Only Plans with this visibility setting can be featured Plans.
About Org-managed Plans
For users with the Manage Plans permission, org-managed Plans are available on the Manage Plans page and in Reporting regardless of the visibility setting. The following actions make a Plan org-managed:
- Setting the visibility to Visible to Groups.
- Setting the visibility to Visible to the Organization.
- Adding org-managed content (content from your organization's catalog) to the Plan.
Once you perform any of the above actions, the Plan is org-managed, and will remain so. Changing the visibility back to Private to Collaborators or removing all org-managed content, will not undo this action. For more information, see About Org-managed Content.
