Add a Skill to a Plan
You can add skills to any Plan you are an author or collaborator on.
You can add a skill to a Plan from your profile page, or from the Plan page.
You must have the Manage Plans and Directories permission to create or edit Plans, and the Create Organizational Plans permission to set the desired Plan privacy setting.
To Add a Skill to a Plan from your Profile

Open the Skills page on your profile page:
From the top of any page in Degreed, click Profile. Then click the Skills tab.

On the Home page, from the navigation panel, click Manage Skills.
The Skills page in your profile displays. - Locate the skill you want to add to a Plan.
- Click > Add to Plan.
The Add to Plan dialog box displays. - Click the name of the Plan to which you want to add the skill.
A confirmation message displays.
Your changes save automatically and are available based on the Plan's visibility setting. - Optionally, in the confirmation message, you can click Edit the Plan to open the Plan and rearrange the order of your content items.
To Add a Skill to a Plan from the Plan Page

On the Home page, from the navigation panel, click Plans.
The Plans page in your profile displays. - Locate the Plan to which you want to add the skill.
- Click the Plan card.
The Plan page displays with the Plan tab open by default. - Click Edit Plan.
The page refreshes and you can now edit the Plan. - Add the Skills to an existing Mixed Resources section or, add a new Mixed Resources section to your Plan:
- Click +Add Section.
- In the menu that displays, select Mixed Resources.
- In the Mixed Resources section, click + Add Resources.
The Add Resources dialog box displays. - In the Search field, enter the name of the Skill, or a relative term.
Suggestions for all content types relevant to your term display in the results. - Click the Type filter drop down.
- In the Type filter, click the Resources drop down and select Skill.
- Click Apply.
The results are filtered to only include Skills. - Click a Skill to add it to the Selected list.
- Click additional Skills in the results list to add more than one Skill.
- Click Add [n] Item(s).
The dialog box closes and the Skills add to the Plan in the Mixed Resources section. - Click Done Editing.
Your changes save and are available based on the Plan's visibility setting.
