What Are External Webhooks?
External Webhooks provide a way to stay updated on events that occur within Degreed. By subscribing to specific events, you can automatically receive real-time notifications (payloads) containing relevant details such as what occurred, when it happened, who initiated it, and more. This feature eliminates the need for continuous polling of Degreed APIs, ensuring you always have the most current data.
Why Are They Useful?
- With External Webhooks, your organization can point to one place for all your data, which provides learners faster access to the information they need.
- Additionally, External Webhooks enables you to connect Degreed to other applications and systems, allowing you to integrate in real-time.
