Resumo
On March 6 at 15:00 UTC, we identified a degradation impacting Search services in the US Production environment. Users experienced slow performance and intermittent unavailability when using Search and related functionality.
All other Degreed platform functionality operated normally during this time.
Impacto
During the 30-minute window, users in US Production may have experienced:
- Slower-than-normal search results
- Intermittent search failures
- Degraded performance in features dependent on Search
There was no data loss or data integrity impact associated with this incident.
Causa
The issue was caused by elevated load on our search infrastructure, which resulted in degraded system performance.
Resolução
Our engineering team quickly identified the increased load and implemented mitigation measures to stabilize the environment. Service performance was restored at 15:30 UTC.
Following restoration, the system returned to normal operating levels.
Ongoing Monitoring
We continue to monitor the search infrastructure to ensure sustained stability and performance. Additional preventive measures are being evaluated to reduce the risk of recurrence.
If you continue to experience any issues related to Search, please contact Degreed Support.
