Manage Your Notification Emails
You can enable or disable the notification emails Degreed sends to your email address on the Profile Settings > Communications tab.
Communication Settings
The following options are available to configure the types of emails you want to receive from Degreed.
1. Email Notifications
These emails are triggered by a specific action within Degreed. You can enable or disable all these notifications or identify the specific emails you want to receive:
- New shares: Someone shares an item with you such as a Pathway, Plan, or skill.
- New group post: Someone shares a content item to a Group you are a member of.
- Mention: Someone mentions you in a comment.
- Reply: Someone replies to your comment.
- Assigned Learning: Someone assigns a content item to you.
- New follower: Someone follows you in Degreed.
2. Email Updates
These are informational emails that keep you updated on relevant activities and content within Degreed. You can disable all these notifications or identify the specific emails you want to receive.
- Daily digest: Provides daily learning recommendations. The following options are also available to further configure what details you would like included or excluded from this email (if relevant data is available):
- New shares: The email will include recently shared items.
- A list of your Feed items: The email will include items from your Degreed Feed.
- New activity from those you follow: The email will include a summary of recent activity from members in Degreed you are following.
- New followers: The email will include a list of members who have recently followed you.
- Weekly digest: Provides a summary of your activity and content and people recommendations.
- Occasional tips: This includes Onboarding emails, Skills check up emails, and We Miss You emails.

To Enable or Disable a Notification Email
- From any page in Degreed, click Profile on the Degreed header.
Your Profile page displays with the Overview tab open by default - Click Settings.

Your Communications page displays. - To enable a notification email, turn the toggle on ().
Degreed delivers that email to you. - To disable a notification email, turn the toggle off ().
Degreed does not deliver that email to you.
Additional Non-Configurable Notification Emails
Transactional emails occur at the time of an action and are not configurable. You will receive an email when:
- another learner requests that you join a Group
- your Join Group request is approved
- your Join Group request was denied
- you are invited to join an organization
- you are invited to join a Group
- you update your email or add a secondary email to your account
- you need to reset your password to log in
- you are added as a collaborator on a Pathway
- you are added as a collaborator on a Plan
- you are sent a skill rating request
- you show interest in an Opportunity
- you are selected for an Opportunity
- you are not selected for an Opportunity
- you are added as a collaborator to an Opportunity
- your mentorship request was accepted
- your mentorship request was declined
- your mentorship is completed
