Does the level of the skill rating affect the type of content suggested within Degreed? For example, if I rate a skill high, do I receive content suggestions for beginners?

Degreed can use your skill rating to help suggest content that aligns with your current proficiency level.
When content is tagged with both a skill and a proficiency level, Degreed can recommend content that matches your current skill rating and content up to two levels above your current rating. For example, if you rate yourself highly in a skill, Degreed is more likely to suggest content aligned with that higher proficiency level instead of beginner-level content.
However, beginner or introductory content may still appear in your suggestions. This can happen when the content does not have proficiency-level data, is not tagged with a related skill, or is recommended through other Degreed recommendation logic, such as assignments, featured content, popularity, interests, groups, or role-based recommendations.
If you have not rated a skill, Degreed may use default recommendation logic or other available signals to recommend content.
Rating your skills can help Degreed provide more personalized suggestions when skill and proficiency data is available.
