Your assignments are accessible from both the Home page and the Assignments page. The Assignments page provides a more detailed view, allowing you to filter and manage your assignments.
Assignments on the Home Page
On the Home page, assignments may appear in the Insight Cards section or the Learning Feeds section.
Assigned Learning Insight Card
A summary of your current assignments may appear as an Insight card if configured by your organization. The Assigned Learning insight card displays the total number of assigned or required learning items that are not completed. If an item is assigned more than one time, or reassigned after completion, it will only be counted once on this tile. However, multiple assignments and reassignments are counted on the Assignments page.
Overdue, Due Soon, and Next Due Date labels may display based on the current status of the assignments:
- Overdue (red pill): Indicates the number of assignments past their due date.
- Due Soon (yellow pill): Indicates the number of assignments due in less than 31 days.
- Next Due Date (grey pill): Shows upcoming assignments with a due date beyond 30 days. This label only appears when there are no overdue or due soon assignments.
Assigned Learning Tab: Learning Feeds Section
The Assigned Learning tab lists the top eight incomplete assigned and required content items. If you have no assigned learning, the Continue Learning tab displays by default. Admins can control default sorting options for the assigned learning list. Admins must contact their Client Experience partner to configure this setting.
. By default, assignments are sorted by their due date and display in the following order:
- Overdue (due today, or past the due date)
- Due Soon (due in less than 31 days)
- Due date is over 31 days
- No due date or optional
Overdue and Due Soon items include a warning label. The due date is shown on each assigned or required learning item on the Home page. If no due date is set, no information is displayed.
Each content card displays the content Title, Type, Duration, Provider (if applicable), and Endorsed icon (if applicable).
For each content card, you can:
- Click the title of an item to access it.
- Save an item to your Profile.
- Follow a Plan or Pathway.
- Click the Actions menu to (depending on the content type) Mark Complete, Share, Add to Plan or Pathway, and more.
For a full list of your assignments, click View All to access the Assignments page.
The Assignments Page
The Assignments page provides a streamlined way to search, sort, and filter your learning items so you can quickly find what you need. To access the Assignments page, click Home > Assignments.
Search
Use the Search field to quickly locate assignments by typing keywords from the Assignment Title. The list dynamically updates as you type.
Assignment Filters
Admins can control default sorting options for the Assignment page. Admins must contact their Client Experience partner to configure this setting.
You can filter the assignments in the table by:
- Assignment Type: Filter by the type of assignment such as assigned or required.
- Content Type: Filter by type of content that is assigned (for example, article, video, or course).
- Provider: Filter by the provider the assignment is from.
- Due Date: By default, assignments are sorted by the date the assignment is due.
Show Completed
Select the Show Completed check box to control whether completed assignments appear in the list. Unchecking it helps you focus on what’s still pending.
