Remove a Focus Skill from your Profile

You can remove a Focus Skill from your profile at any time. When you remove a Focus Skill, content recommendations for that skill no longer display in the Focus Skill sections on your Home page.

To Remove a Focus Skill from your Profile (Skills Page Grid View)

1. Open your Profile page:
   From the top of any page in Degreed, click Profile.
   - or -
   From the Home page, click your profile picture.
   Your Overview tab displays by default.
2. Click the Skills tab.
3. If you haven't added any skills to your profile yet, add a Skill to your profile.
4. In the Additional Skills section, locate the skill you want to remove.
5. On the Focus Skill card, click the yellow, star icon ().
   The skill becomes a regular skill in your Additional Skills list.
   The star turns grey () and is removed from your Focus Skills list and placed into your Additional Skills list, and a confirmation displays at the bottom of the page.

To Remove a Focus Skill from your Profile (Skills Page List View)

1. Open your Profile page:
   From the top of any page in Degreed, click Profile.
   - or -
   From the Home page, click your profile picture.
   Your Overview tab displays by default.
2. Click the Skills tab.
3. If you haven't added any skills to your profile yet, add a Skill to your profile.
4. Click the List View icon (). 
5. Locate the skill you want to remove.
6. Click the yellow, star icon () in the Focus column.
   The skill becomes a regular skill in your skill list.
   The star turns grey () and is removed from your Focus Skills list and a confirmation displays at the bottom of the page.
