AI-enabled Maestro Mobile provides an interactive learning experience accessible from any location. The application enables users to engage with learning materials while commuting, taking breaks, or working remotely.
Access Maestro
- Tap Maestro
at the bottom-center, and tap Quick Actions.

Your organization may require you to acknowledge or accept the AI consent form before accessing Maestro features. Please take the necessary action.
Maestro Quick Actions
Maestro helps users discover skill-based content aligned with their learning goals. It prompts for additional input to better understand your needs, then provides relevant content based on the information provided.
Users can refine the content by type (videos, courses, articles, books, etc.) or duration, and choose to view or engage with the desired content.
Maestro's Curate Pathway capability guides you through creating a personalized learning path based on the topic you’re interested in learning. It uses a conversational interface to prompt you to understand your area of focus and then provides a relevant summary and description of that topic.
Maestro then suggests sections for your pathway and lets you choose which ones to include before proceeding.
Maestro enable users to manage Focus or Additional skills and personalize learning journeys by:
- Update/change my focus skills: Interact with Maestro to add or modify focus and additional Skills. You can view these skills on your profile.
- Update my skill ratings: Interact with Maestro to assess skill proficiency and update the rating for any focus or additional skill. You can view the updated skill ratings on your profile.
- Add skills: Ask Maestro to add a new skill and a skill rating. After it's added, the new skill and its rating appears on your profile.
Maestro Quick Action lets you start a new conversation at any time.

Each session is independent, allowing you to explore different skills or topics.
Browse Coaches and Experiences
The Maestro Career Coach in the Degreed mobile app offers personalized, AI-powered career guidance through simple, conversational prompts. It helps users explore topics like building a professional network, identifying essential skills for career growth, and preparing for job interviews. It becomes your self-guided professional mentor, providing you with tailored guidance and relevant resources to support your career journey. To interact with the Maestro Career Coach, you can:
- Tap a suggested prompt to start a conversation.
- Type your own question to begin a personalized conversation.
- Tap
to speak directly with your coach. First-time users are prompted to grant microphone access to enable this feature.
For the most realistic and engaging role-play experience, the Skill Review Coach is voice-enabled only. It asks follow-up questions to gather deeper insights and concludes with a comprehensive summary of the conversation.
To view your previous interactions with Maestro:

Maestro Forms
You can either take a Forms as part of a Plan or Pathway, or find and start one on your own by searching for a Maestro quiz or browsing Maestro Experiences.
- To find a Maestro form, tap Search in the bottom navigation.
In the search bar, type the name of the quiz.
Tap Filter, and under filter Type, select Form.
Tap Show Results to view matching forms.
Tap Maestro in the bottom navigation.
Select the Experiences tab.
Browse the list of experiences to find a Maestro form.
Tap Take Quiz next to the quiz you want to start.
Maestro Roleplays
You can engage with interactive Roleplay simulations by searching for a Maestro Roleplay or browsing Maestro Experiences.
- To find a Maestro roleplay, tap Search in the bottom navigation.
In the search bar, type the name of the roleplay.
Tap Filter, and under filter Type, select Roleplay.
Tap Show Results to view matching roleplays.
Tap Maestro in the bottom navigation.
Select the Experiences tab.
Browse the list of experiences to find a Maestro roleplay.
Tap Take Quiz next to the quiz you want to start.
Ask Maestro
Maestro helps users discover skill-related learning content aligned with their goals. It asks a series of follow-up questions to understand the topic, preferred content types, duration, target skills, and proficiency level. Based on these preferences, Maestro recommends relevant courses, videos, articles, books, and assessments. Users can view additional results or ask Maestro to use the topic and recommended content to create a Pathway in the same chat.
