If your organization has enabled the localization framework, content items available in multiple languages are linked together. The Search page shows one result per linked content group instead of every language version, using the language version that best matches your language settings. See Change your Degreed Content Language for how those settings are configured, and Search Page Filters for how language filters work with linked content.
To Access the Search Page
- Click the Search field on the header.
- Enter a search term and select a suggested option, or click the Go to Search Page link.
You are directed to the Search page, or you can also access it by clicking the Discover button in the side navigation menu.
The Search Page
- Search field: Type relevant terms into the Search field to discover relevant learning content, skills, people, Groups, or Opportunities.
- Degreed/External toggle: This toggle determines if you are searching in Degreed (your organization's internal catalog) or the External catalog. This element is only available on the Learning tab.
- Search tabs: The following tabs are available to streamline search results to the corresponding elements: Learning, Skills, People, Groups, and Opportunities.
- Filters: Use the available filters to refine your search results. Filters are only available on the Learning, People, and Opportunities tabs. See Search Page Filters for more details on each filter.
- Related Skills: Related skills suggestions are available based on your current search. This element is only available on the Learning tab.
- Endorsed results: Learning items that have been endorsed by your organization are displayed at the top of the search results in the Endorsed section, if applicable. This element is only available on the Learning tab. This element is only available on the Learning tab.
- Sort by: Use the Sort by dropdown to sort your search results by Most Popular, Most Recent, or Most Relevant. This element is only available on the Learning tab.
- Results: The search results available based on the search term and selected filters. If your organization has enabled the localization framework, each linked content group appears once, showing the language version most relevant to your language settings.
