For iOS Devices

1. Open the App Store on your device.
2. Tap Search and enter Degreed in the search bar.
3. Select Degreed from the search results.
4. Tap Get and follow the instructions to install the app.
5. After the installation is complete, tap Open to access the Degreed app.

For Android Devices

Ensure you are signed in to your Google account.

1. Open the Google Play Store on your device.
2. Enter Degreed in the search bar.
3. Select Degreed from the search results.
4. Tap Install and follow the instructions to install the app.
5. After the installation is complete, tap Open to access the Degreed app.

Android users must download the Degreed Mobile App through the Google Play store. However, availability can be restricted in certain regions where Google Play access is limited.

Limitations for Android Users in China

The Degreed Mobile App is not available from the Google Store for Android users in China. To work around this, Degreed provides an Android Package Kit (APK) for download here.

The experience in China is not officially tested, so issues are possible. This is not equivalent to installing the app from the Google Play Store. The installation is not managed, so the device is not automatically updated to the new version of the Degreed Mobile App. However, the provided link is updated prior to every release, so you can download the most recent version.

Mobile App in China: Regional Feature Changes

Due to regulatory restrictions, certain changes apply to the Degreed Mobile App in China:

Only applications distributed through officially published app stores are supported.

• iOS: The app is available in the Apple App Store when accessed from mainland China.
• Android: The app is not officially supported in China due to regulatory constraints.

Access Requirements:
To comply with Chinese regulations, the following features are disabled:

• Users cannot log in unless they belong to an organization that has explicitly enabled access in China.
• Organizations must contact Degreed Support to enable this feature.

Feature Limitations in China:
To comply with Chinese regulations, the following features are disabled:

• Logging in as a user that is not part of an organization that has agreed to allow access in China.
• Inbound sharing of external links to the app.
• Posting content to group feeds.
• Accessing content outside the organization’s catalog.
• Posting or viewing comments on content items.
• Following users outside the organization.
• Creating or editing user bios.

Additionally, all Degreed server traffic is routed through a mainland China proxy.

The app’s ICP number and its Privacy Policy and User Agreement for China are available in the profile menu of the app.
