Install the Mobile App

Install on an iOS Device

1. On your device, open the App Store.
2. Tap Search.
3. Enter Degreed Mobile App.
4. Tap Get.
5. Follow the prompts to install the app.
6. Once the installation completes, tap Open

Install on an Android Device

1. Ensure you have a Google account.
2. Launch the Google Play Store app.
3. In the Search field, enter Degreed Mobile App.
4. Tap Install.
5. Follow the prompts to install the app.
6. Once the installation completes, tap Open.

Android users must download the Mobile App through the Google Play store. Availability may be limited to some users in locales that do not have access to the Google Play Store.

Limitations for Android Users in China

The Degreed Mobile App is not available from the Google Store for Android devices based in China. A Degreed Android Package Kit (APK) is available here for download to circumvent these limitations.

Please note that the experience in China has not been tested so issues are possible. This is not equivalent to installing the app from the Google Play Store. The installation is not managed, so the device is not automatically updated to new version of the Degreed Mobile App. However, the provided link is updated prior to every release, so you can download the most recent version.

Mobile App in China: Regional Feature Changes

Due to regulations in China, the following changes have been made to the Degreed Mobile App:

• Only applications distributed through officially published app stores are supported.

  • iOS: The app is available in the Apple App Store when accessed from mainland China.
  • Android: The app is not officially supported in China due to regulatory constraints.

• Users cannot log in to the China mobile app unless they are part of an organization that has agreed to allow access in China. For more information about enabling this feature, please contact Degreed.

Feature Limitations in the China Version:
To comply with Chinese law, the following features have been disabled:

• Logging in as a user that is not part of an organization that has agreed to allow access in China.
• Inbound sharing of external links to the app.
• Posting content to group feeds.
• Accessing content outside of the organization’s catalog.
• Posting or viewing comments on content items.
• Following users outside the organization.
• Creating or editing user bios.

Additionally, all traffic to Degreed servers is routed through a proxy in mainland China.

The app’s ICP number, along with the Privacy Policy and User Agreement for users in China, is accessible through the app’s profile menu.
