Session ID:
A session refers to a continuous engagement or interaction within the Maestro experience.- A text session begins when the user sends their first message and ends when they exit the Maestro chat screen by pressing the back button.
- If a user returns after exiting the chat screen, it is counted as a new session, even if it’s part of the same conversation.
- If a user starts voice mode during a text session, the text session ends automatically, and a new voice session begins.
- Switching tabs does not end a session unless the user logs out.
- Each session automatically ends after 10 minutes of inactivity, after which a new session begins upon re-engagement.
Text Session
- A text session remains active as long as the user is logged in and stays on the same chat screen. The session continues regardless of how long the user exchanges messages.
- The text session ends when:
- The user logs out, OR
- The user leaves the chat screen (presses back, switches to another screen within Degreed, or navigates away).
- If the user logs back in and continues the same conversation, a new session is created.
Voice Session
Maestro voice-based interactions will automatically close after:
- 30 minutes of activity
- Or 1 minute and 45 seconds of inactivity
- Time Stamp: The time the session occurred.
- Minutes Used: Minutes used for a session.
In the Report Preview, each Maestro Quick Action or Experience interaction appears as a detailed line item.
