What is the Degreed Button?
The Degreed Button is an extension you add to your browser. When a learner clicks the Degreed Button while on a web page, they can:
- mark the content as complete to credit them with points on their profile,
- add it to their Saved page to view later,
- share the content to Groups and other People without leaving the website, and
- add the content to a Pathway or Plan, also without leaving the website.
Learners with the Manage Catalog permission can also add the content to the Catalog.
How Does the Degreed Button Work for Learners?
When learners complete or access content across the Web, they can click the button to automatically earn credit for completion, save it for later, share it to other groups and users, add it to Pathways or Plans, and more. The content then becomes easily located within Degreed from their Home and Profile pages. If the learner doesn’t have a Degreed account, they are prompted to set up a new account. While using the Degreed Button, content items that are viewed but not marked as complete will not be reflected on the learner's Items Viewed metric.
