This article applies to clients with an Academies and Content Marketplace (ACM) license prior to the October 2024 Major Product Release. If you are unsure if this applies to your organization, please contact your CX Representative.
As part of an Academy, you may be asked to request and complete an embedded program with an external provider. You can remove an embedded program from Your Plan if you requested one by mistake.
To Remove an External Program Your Plan
- Select Your Plan from the left navigation menu.
The In Progress tab is selected by default and your active programs, both in progress and awaiting approval, display. - Locate the program you want to remove.
- Click the Actions menu () next to the program or resource and select Remove Program.
The Remove Program dialogue box displays. - Select Yes, I have or No, I have not from the available options

Yes, I have: Select this option if you paid for the program you want to remove using a virtual card in-app.
- Specify the amount you paid and click Remove Program.
Any leftover funds from your purchase will be moved from your virtual card balance back into your overall learning budget.

No, I have not: Select this option if you did not pay for the program using a virtual card in-app.
- If your company is leveraging virtual cards, the amount requested for the program will be moved from your virtual card balance back into your earning budget.
- If your company is not leveraging virtual cards, no transfer of funds will occur.

Yes, I have: Select this option if you paid for the program you want to remove using a virtual card in-app.
- Click Remove Program.
To Cancel a Request
- If you have not yet been approved for the program, contact your Manager or Admin, and let them know you’d like to withdraw your request. Your Manager or Admin will deny your request.
- If you have been approved for a program but have not paid for it in-app, remove it from your plan. When you remove the program from your plan, your requested funds will be moved from your virtual card back into your overall learning budget so that you can use the funds on new learning opportunities. Or, if your company is not leveraging virtual cards, no transfer of funds will occur.
- If you have been approved for a program, and you've paid for it in-app, remove it from your plan. When you remove it from your plan, you must specify the amount paid for the program or resource. Any leftover funds are moved from your virtual card back into your overall learning budget where you can use the funds on new learning opportunities. Contact the program provider for information about obtaining a refund. In the event that funds are returned to your virtual card, contact an Admin to have them manually moved from your virtual card back into your overall learning budget. If you’re unable to get your funds back, an Admin may be able to increase your spending limit to compensate for the lost funds.
