Unlock Sections and Steps in an Academy (ACM Before October 2024)

This article applies to clients with an Academies and Content Marketplace (ACM) license prior to the October 2024 Major Product Release. If you are unsure if this applies to your organization, please contact your CX Representative.

Some sections and steps in an Academy require you to complete prior steps to unlock them. To unlock sections and steps, you must either mark the required elements as complete or skip them.

To Unlock a Section or Step

Sections and steps with a lock icon indicate that there is a requirement that needs to be met in order to access it.

1. Complete or skip the required content.
   
   The option to skip an element is only available if the Admin or contributor for that program enabled that option.
   • Required Content: Click Mark as Complete or click the Actions menu () next to the required element and select Skip Content.
   • Required Event: Wait until the Event date passes or click the Actions menu () next to the required element and select Skip Event.
   • Required Project: Submit a response or click the Actions menu () next to the required element and select Skip Project.
   • Required Custom Program: Complete all of your company's program elements or click the Actions menu () next to the required element and select Skip Program.
   • Required Marketplace Program: Click Mark as Complete or click the Actions menu () next to the required element and select Skip Program.
2. When you've completed or skipped all of the elements in a required section, the locked section will automatically unlock.
